Chartering & Sailing in Turkey

Chartering or sailing along Turkey’s remarkable turquoise coast onboard either a gulet or yacht is the best way to explore this beautiful and historic land.

South western Turkey benefits from fair winds, sheltered bays, breathtaking scenery and picturesque beaches making Turkey a perfect destination for a boating holiday.

Sailing conditions in this area of Turkey are ideal with offshore north westerly winds of between 15 to 20 knots; there are also no tides and no strong currents.  The climate is wonderful which means sailing is possible for eight months of the year.

Here at Gulet Holidays we offer a wide range of deluxe gulets, motor yachts and sailing yachts which can accommodate 8-16 passengers, all of which are meticulously well maintained.

Our cruise routes have been planned using our expert knowledge and with you in mind.  Visit sites that are not accessible by land onboard your own floating hotel.  Drop anchor in a secluded cove and witness the sun disappear behind the horizon, dine and sleep underneath the stars or moor up at a marina and enjoy an entertaining evening at a nearby restaurant.

Choose to voyage these turquoise seas onboard a cabin charter or hire a complete gulet or yacht to yourself.

A cabin charter is perfect for singles, couples and smaller groups as you hire a private cabin for your holiday and share the boat with other like minded individuals.  For larger groups of family or friends a gulet or yacht charter is opportune and allows the passengers to modify their route with the guidance of the Captain.  Whichever option you choose you can be assured of a memorable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Unless specified all of our boats come with a highly trained and experienced Captain and crew.  They will take care of the day to day running of the boat for you and have an invaluable knowledge of the local area.

If you chose to hire a bareboat (without Captain and crew) you should have previous skippering experience aboard yachts, be Day Skipper standard (with an RYA Day or Coastal Skipper qualification or an international equivalent) and will need to be assisted by at least one competent crew.
